Brief History of the department

The department of Education started in 2016 with general course only. The department began with a guest teacher, Dipanwita Sarkar who joined on August 19, 2016. Since then, she has been single-handedly taking care of the departmental needs, at present as a State Appointed College Teacher (SACT)

Vision

The Education department envisions to provide holistic and updated knowledge to the learners. Our main vision is to create a safe and inclusive learning environment that celebrates diversity, nurtures creativity and promotes critical thinking, equipping students with the knowledge, skills and values to become ideal and responsible citizens.

Mission

  •  To foster the holistic development of students by imparting them updated and valuable knowledge.
  • To enable the learners to apply the acquired knowledge into their practical life.
  • To empower students with the latest Information and Communication Technology.
  • To extend the education service to the community for wellbeing of the society.
