Brief History

The Department of Chemistry at Parimal Mitra Smriti Mahavidyalaya, Mal, Jalpaiguri, was established in the year 2016. Since its inception, the department has been committed to promoting excellence in chemical education, fostering innovation, and building a strong foundation for students in the field of Chemistry.

To nurture a passion for Chemistry and impart quality science education, empowering students with the knowledge and skills to contribute meaningfully to society and the scientific community.

Course Offered — The Department of Chemistry currently offers Chemistry as a subject under the Multi- Disciplinary Course (MDC) at the undergraduate program level, providing students with a strong scientific foundation and an opportunity to explore the multifaceted applications of Chemistry.
